It’s the Little Things

I used to think that the best pictures showed the whole context.  That a photograph was only a good photograph if the viewer could understand everything that occurring.

I am coming to believe that is not quite the case.  It is also a photographers job to capture the little details as well.

This is a door handle to a building in a Chinese garden I recently visited.  The whole building was beautiful but this door handle was the most interesting thing to me. It needed it’s own picture!
